RACING DRIVER KNITTED ROLL NECK JUMPER IN NAVY

The roll neck jumper has been the knit of choice, for many menswear style icons, over the course of countless generations. As well as being attributed to motor racing drivers, who quickly adapted the pullover as part of their racewear attire, during the humble beginnings of motorsport.

Often worn by professional racers to serve as a base layer beneath a jacket, gilet or full race suit. This knitted roll neck, draws on inspiration from outfits as worn by drivers during the ‘classic days’ of grand prix racing.

This particular roll neck jumper, has been specifically styled and modelled upon the era of Brooklands sportscar championships and the Vanderbilt Cup, when these types of garments were traditionally made from wool, flannel and tweed.

Knitted in Nottinghamshire on 5gg plain stitch, this sweater encompasses five ends of 2/30’s extra fine Merino wool, which is twisted into one singular strand, producing a plump and lofty yarn with light weight and a soft luxe handle. While the ribbed roll neck collar ensures maximum comfort and warmth.

Styled with a field jacket for a warming and seasonal look, or under a tweed blazer for sophisticated winter layering, due to the jumpers close body fit. The roll neck jumper can equally be worn on its own, for a casual and elegant weekend appearance.

Services to Russia

Due to the ongoing situation surrounding Russia, we shall not be offering shipment of any of our products to the country.

Whilist we are closely monitoring the events and circumstances, this shipping suspension will remain in place for the foreseeable future. However, should there be any further changes to this development, we will keep you informed.

Import regulations and duties

If you order goods from our site for delivery outside the UK & EU they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. In the unlikely event that you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days of receipt and we would be happy to assist you with your return.

If you would like us to arrange your return shipment please get in contact. The cost of the return will be deducted from your refund or invoiced separately.

We cannot accept returns on any made-to-order or customised pieces. However, we are of course more than happy to accept returns on pre-order items and in stock products.
