Expertly crafted by traditional cabinet maker David Lloyd, who has been constructing furniture and bespoke products for the home since the mid 1990’s. An independent and highly skilled cabinet maker and furniture designer, who predominantly uses native solid timber species sourced locally when possible.
The timber used to produce each piece, is sourced from a mill in Leicestershire, where it is expertly cut into 1" boards, in the region of 14 feet long and 2-3 feet wide, and then professionally kiln dried. David then selects some of the finest cuts, which will be turned into beautifully handcrafted homeware accessories.
Once the large boards have been hand cut and made into smaller sections, they are then glued into the specific width for a bread board.
This oak bread board has been expertly created by hand, using traditional tools and practices. A solid piece of British craftsmanship, perfect for slicing your daily bread, dicing up those ingredients for 'that next recipe', or simply to use for an ‘ice and slice’!
Each board is then coated in 'Tung' oil, to provide water and heat resistance. However, it is recommended to hand wash only and do not immerse in water, to prolong the life of the chopping board. It is definitely not dishwasher friendly.
Featuring grooved ends to easily carry the chopping board, rounded corners and finished with David Lloyds’ signature plaque, to create a kitchenware essential.

Services to Russia
Due to the ongoing situation surrounding Russia, we shall not be offering shipment of any of our products to the country.
Whilist we are closely monitoring the events and circumstances, this shipping suspension will remain in place for the foreseeable future. However, should there be any further changes to this development, we will keep you informed.

Import regulations and duties
If you order goods from our site for delivery outside the UK & EU they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. In the unlikely event that you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days of receipt and we would be happy to assist you with your return.
If you would like us to arrange your return shipment please get in contact. The cost of the return will be deducted from your refund or invoiced separately.
Custom & Personalised orders
We cannot accept returns on any made-to-order or customised pieces. However, we are of course more than happy to accept returns on pre-order items and in stock products.
