Badalassi Carlo is highly regarded as one of the most skilful footwear and leather goods tanneries within the industry, having specialised for over 40 years in the production of vegetable tanned leather products. 

Their signature leather bags are therefore widely renowned, for their utmost quality and sophisticated designs. Utilising refined manual finishes throughout the production process, to provide exclusive character and a superior finish to each piece.

This "Fox X Badalassi Carlo Leather Special Edition Bag", is certainly no exception to these philosophies and ethics, having been constructed using these very methods and principles of the Badalassi Carlo tannery.

A one-of-a-kind tote bag, which has been produced to strictly one piece. Having undergone a strict hand finishing process, with countless of hours spent to produce this individual item.   

Construction of the bag is done entirely by hand using traditional saddlery tools and methods. Every stitch is made using waxed linen thread and a two-needle method, locking each stitch in place… undoubtedly, the most durable method of making leather goods.      

The leather is expertly produced in the Tuscany region of Italy, with a naturally tumbled, pure vegetable tanned leather body. The grain itself is not printed and consequently varies from skin to skin. The hide is treated with extracts of trunk and bark inside wood barrels, greased with a mixture of animal fats. As the leather ages, it will take on a beautiful patina unique to itself.

Whilst the handles and trim, are created by acclaimed Italian leather outfitter “Buttero”, from a full grain, and smooth vegetable tanned leather. The rolled handles and the piping also feature a solid leather core, along with the bag base, Ultimately, shaping itself to the user over time and use.

As well as utilising a protective lined inner made from durable dry waxed cotton material, from Halley Stevenson's. Offering protection to the leather and much durability to the bag. Finished with buckles made from solid brass, as well as an embossed leather Fox Brothers inner label and tag.

UK Shipping - £8.50 + VAT on all orders within mainland UK except furniture. 

Services to Russia

Due to the ongoing situation surrounding Russia, we shall not be offering shipment of any of our products to the country.

Whilist we are closely monitoring the events and circumstances, this shipping suspension will remain in place for the foreseeable future. However, should there be any further changes to this development, we will keep you informed.

Import regulations and duties

If you order goods from our site for delivery outside the UK & EU they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

In the unlikely event that you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days of receipt and we would be happy to assist you with your return.

If you would like us to arrange your return shipment please get in contact. The cost of the return will be deducted from your refund or invoiced separately.

Custom & Personalised orders

We cannot accept returns on any made-to-order or customised pieces. However, we are of course more than happy to accept returns on pre-order items and in stock products.
